Day Trip to Ayvalık, Turkey (July 4, 2026)
- The day trip requires an additional fee of 60 € per person
- This cost is not included in the conference registration fees listed above
- A valid passport is required for participation
One-Day Excursion to Ayvalık – Program
Meeting point at the Mytilene Customs Office at 08:00. After ticket issuance and completion of passport/ID control, departure by scheduled ferry to Ayvalık at 09:00.
Upon arrival in Ayvalık and after completion of passport/ID control, our tour guide and bus will be waiting for us. Departure to the well-known Moschonisia (Cunda Island), where we will visit the Church of Taxiarchis and walk through the surrounding traditional streets.
This will be followed by a guided tour of the town center of Ayvalık and free time for shopping.
Meeting at the bus at a time and place to be arranged with the tour guide, followed by transfer to the Port of Ayvalık. Return to Mytilene by the afternoon ferry, departing at 18:00.
Day Trip to Agiasos-Plomari (Lesvos Island) (July 4, 2026)

One-Day Excursion to Agiasos & Plomari – Program
Meeting point at the university at 08:30 and departure by bus. Arrival in Agiasos, a traditional mountain village, where participants will have free time for coffee and a walk through the village.
This will be followed by a visit to the Vranas Olive Press Museum, offering insight into the history and traditional production of olive oil on the island.
Departure for Plomari and visit to the Ouzo Museum of Plomari, where participants will learn about the history and distillation process of ouzo.
Afterwards, free time at Agios Isidoros Beach for swimming, coffee, or lunch.
Final stop in Plomari village, with time to explore and walk around the area.
Return to Mytilene is expected between 18:30 and 19:00.

Participants are kindly requested to prepare their posters using the provided template . The template ensures a consistent layout and high visual quality across all poster presentations.
The poster should follow the suggested structure, including key sections such as Introduction, Data & Methods, Results, and Conclusion, allowing for a clear and effective presentation of the research. Authors may make minor adjustments to the layout (e.g., adding or removing images), provided that the overall structure and readability are maintained.
Please ensure that all text, figures, and graphics are clearly legible and appropriately formatted for large-scale printing (A0 size).
Posters that do not follow the template may not meet the display requirements of the conference.
